The following clarifications around our booking of rinks and rink fees has been agreed by your Directors and Bowling Committee, and are effective immediately….
Advance Booking of short sessions
The Club encourages members to use rinks for private practice, especially where the rinks would otherwise be empty. An hours private practice (rink fee just £1.75!) can be really beneficial to consistency. However, to ensure rinks are not ‘blocked’ at busy times, we need to ask that advance booking of individual rinks for less than the full session is only made within 24 hours of that session. Also, if you do advance-book a partial session, please clearly state your start time and end time in your rink diary booking.
The Club Stewards will ask for the full £4 session charge for any rinks booked ahead of the 24-hour window.
