Great news ... we have four more members about to go through their Level 1 Coaching Course.
More qualified coaches will really help with our imperative to get more new members into the club.
If you would like more information on becoming a qualified coach do speak with any of the current coaches (Neil, Christine, Liz). If we have enough interest we could apply to run a course at the Angel.
Introducing new members to the club through coaching, and indeed volunteering in any way, is extremely rewarding. If you aren't doing any volunteering for the club at the moment but would like to, do speak with any director, bowling committee member or social committee member. It's your club and, as they say, many hands make light work!
Volunteering opportunities coming up ...
Helping advertise our Open Weekend (distribute leaflets, put up posters)
Helping with the Open Weekend on the day
Organising the annual September Triples Competition
Helping with our social media
Helping install the new lighting in the bowling hall at the end of August
Helping with our planned 40 years + celebrations in October
Helping at the promotional Farmers Market stall planned for mid September
Volunteering as a Director ( 2 or 3 more needed)
... and more! ...
If you feel you could help with any of these do speak with our Club Steward Paul, or any of Neil, Paul or Keith.
